Motorcycle Training for Beginners
If you've never ridden before, or the idea of a busy group class puts you off, one-to-one training is the calmest way in. Mick starts every beginner in a controlled area, at your pace, building up one skill at a time.
You'll cover bike controls, balance, clutch and low-speed handling before ever going near traffic — and everything progresses only when you're ready.

FAQ
Common questions
- I've never sat on a motorcycle — is that ok?
- Absolutely. Many riders training with Mick have never sat on a motorcycle before. Every session starts in a controlled area, at your pace, one skill at a time.
- What licence do I need first?
- You'll need a learner permit for the category of motorcycle you plan to ride. Confirm the current requirements on the RSA website before booking.
- Do I need my own bike?
- No. School bikes are available for AM, A1, A2 and A categories so you can start without owning a bike.
