Initial Basic Training (IBT) is the mandatory RSA-approved course every new motorcyclist in Ireland must complete before riding on public roads. 16 structured hours across modules — bike control, road positioning, hazard awareness and confident, defensive riding.

Progressive access lets you upgrade from A2 to A after holding A2 for 2 years by completing Module 5 training.

Absolutely — school bikes are available for IBT, lessons and test day rental at competitive rates.

A motorcycle helmet, gloves, boots, a hi-vis vest and proper riding clothing. Mick can guide you on what to buy or lend gear during training.

The full IBT is 16 hours across 4 modules. It's typically delivered over 2–3 days, but Mick can spread it out to suit you.
